Oldstock Turquoise Mountain Bolo. This was cut and polished by Jerry Julian in the late 70s from oldstock rough. set in sterling, with a shadowbox look. Simple and timeless, One of the many different looks from this mine. This photo was taken outside.
I enjoyed making this one. It has a full bead border surrounded by a bold shadowbox border. Cord is 5mm leather, with sterling silver tips.
All of the turquoise chosen for my bolo ties is absolutely some of the best old stock that can be found. Always priced fairly to ensure value, these are heirloom caliber stones.
